Drive & Deliver

Two ways to earn, on your schedule.

Post a trip you're already taking and sell the empty seats and package space. Or go online and make offers on nearby ride and delivery requests. We recommend prices based on route, distance, traffic, and demand. You set what you will be comfortable with.

How you earn

  • Post your own tripChoose the route, departure, seats and price per seat.
  • Carry packagesTurn on courier for a trip and set your package slots.
  • Offer on ride requestsGo online, open a nearby request and enter your pay.
  • Offer on deliveriesSwitch on Accept deliveries to see courier requests too.

Two kinds of work

Use one, or use both.

Everything runs from the Movago Driver app, and the two kinds of work are kept separate so it's clear what you've committed to.

Post a trip

You decide the journey, and riders book seats on it.

  1. Draft
  2. Published
  3. In progress
  4. Completed
  • Name the trip, pick your vehicle and set your passenger seats. The app keeps one seat for you.
  • Set your pickup, drop-off and stops in order, with departure and estimated arrival times.
  • Set a price per seat. Smoking, pets, a luggage note and flexible pricing are optional.
  • Share a published trip. Its share text uses the pickup and drop-off cities.

Offer on requests

Go online and make offers on nearby requests.

  1. Heading to pickup
  2. I've arrived
  3. Start trip
  4. Complete trip
  • Nearby requests load only while you're online, split into rides and courier.
  • Enter the amount you will be paid. It can't go below the suggested base, or above a request's maximum base if it has one.
  • Choose your province and vehicle, and add a message of up to 280 characters if you like.
  • You can withdraw an offer while it's still open. Once a rider accepts, it becomes an assignment.

Before you start

What you need.

Identity and vehicle checks are separate cases. The app lists what each one still needs from you.

  • A payout account

Connected and active, with charges and payouts enabled. You can't create a trip without it.

  • A vehicle on your account

Make, model, year, plate, province, transmission, fuel type, odometer and seats, plus photos.

  • Identity verification

Start your identity check and submit each item the app asks for until it passes.

  • Vehicle verification

Start a vehicle check, then submit the evidence and documents that case asks for.

Under our Terms of Use, driver hosts must hold a valid driver's licence, up-to-date motor vehicle insurance and valid registration. Vehicles must pass annual safety inspections and have working seatbelts for all passengers.

Carry packages too

Space in the trunk? Put it to work.

Turn courier on when you create a trip and set your package slots. Package requests then show on that trip, and you accept the ones you want.

Verification at every handoff

Codes and check-ins protect the trip.

  • Passengers: scan or confirm each booking from the start swipe. Every passenger must be verified before you can start.
  • Ride requests: start with the rider's or sender's pickup code, 4 to 8 characters. The driving steps unlock once payment has cleared.
  • Packages: accept or reject each request, mark it picked up, then deliver it using the delivery code.

Getting paid

See your earnings, and withdraw when you're ready.

  • Your earnings

    • Your wallet separates money still settling from money you can withdraw.
    • Request a payout once your withdrawable balance reaches $50.00.
    • Turn on automatic payout with a threshold at or above the minimum shown in the app.
    • Review earnings over 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or 1 year, and open payout history at any time.
  • You type your pay

On an offer, you enter what you'll be paid. The rider's total includes the fees and tax the app adds.

  • Coupons don't cut your share

When a rider uses a promotion, it lowers what they pay. Your share of the fare stays the same.

FAQ

Good to know.

Can I change a trip after I publish it?

No. You can edit a draft, but a published trip can't be edited, so check your route, time, seats and price before you publish. If plans change, you can cancel while the trip can still be cancelled.

When can I start a trip I posted?

The trip needs at least one confirmed passenger, and you can start within 30 minutes of departure. Every passenger must be checked in first.

What if I'm running late for departure?

The app offers the replies still allowed, such as I'm on the way, Car issue, Emergency or Cancel trip. It shows your deadline and how many delays you have left.

Are there penalties for cancelling?

The cancel sheet tells you whether a penalty applies before you confirm. That sheet is the policy for that trip.

Do I need to do anything extra for deliveries?

Yes. Courier requests appear only when you're online and have turned on Accept deliveries. Ride requests don't need that switch.

Is there a limit on how many trips I can post?

Your plan may have a trip limit. If it's used up, the app tells you the trip quota is exceeded when you try to create another.

How do I talk to riders?

Use the conversation for that trip or ride. You can save predefined messages and reuse them, such as "We're on the way now."

What if a rider leaves something in my car?

Open lost and found for that trip, add the item, then update its status or a note as you handle it.
