From draft to door
Your event, step by step.
People can't buy tickets on a draft. Publish your event first, then add the tiers people will buy.

Create your event
Add a title, overview, category, city, address, map location, start and end. Make it in person, online or both, public or private.

Publishing makes your event live, and opens up ticket types. It doesn't create tickets by itself.
- 3
Add ticket types
Give each tier a name, price, capacity, and a sale start and end.

Share and sell
Share the event link or QR code while the event is published.

Agendas
Add sessions with a title, times, place and speaker. Each is a talk, a workshop or networking, and can be limited to certain ticket types.
Event comments
Turn comments on or off. While on, people can comment, reply and like, and you can delete comments on your event.
Checkout questions
Ask buyers for text, a choice, a number, an email or a phone number, and make any field required.
See who bought
Open your event's purchases to see buyers, tickets and the answers they gave at checkout.
Event analytics
See attendance, sales and completion for the period you pick.
Promote your event
Attach an existing Movago Ads campaign to a published, upcoming event, and see views, clicks, conversions, spend and revenue.
At the door
Real tickets, checked live.
Start a session
Start a scanner session for your event, limit it to specific ticket types if you like, and see which sessions are active.
Scan tickets
The door checks each ticket in the Movago Scanner app. The scanner checks tickets. It doesn't sell them.
After your event
- After the scheduled end, your event shows as Needs confirmation.
- Confirm it to release your ticket earnings.
- Request a payout from your withdrawable balance, or turn on automatic payout.
Your plan
Your organizer plan controls how many ticket tiers you can add to one event. At the limit, the app stops you and offers a plan change. Other limits are shown on your plan screen.
If you need to cancel
Open the cancellation policy before you cancel. It shows the time window, what buyers get back, and what applies to you. Organizer fees on that policy are waived if no tickets have been sold.
FAQ
Good to know.
When do I get paid for tickets?
Ticket money is released when you confirm an event that has ended. You can't confirm before the scheduled end, and a cancelled event can't be confirmed.
Can I edit an event after publishing?
Yes. While an event is a draft or published, you can change the title, overview, categories, tags, place, times, images, visibility and format. Edits lock once it's cancelled, needs confirmation, is confirmed or is archived.
What happens if I cancel a published event?
Your buyers are refunded, and the fee depends on how soon you cancel. The cancellation policy shows what applies, and any penalty charged is taken from later earnings.
Can I add an agenda straight away?
Publish the event and add at least one ticket type first. Agenda edits stop when the event is locked.
Does a buyer's coupon reduce my earnings?
No. A promotion lowers what the buyer pays, while your organizer payout stays unchanged.
Can I delete an event?
Only a draft or archived event. Cancel a published event, or confirm one that has ended.
Do I need an ad campaign to promote my event?
Yes. Promotion attaches a campaign you already have in Movago Ads to your event. It doesn't create one for you, and the ad uses your event photo.
